The Welsh Corgi Pembroke is a small, sturdy herding dog known for its friendly, intelligent and alert nature; they’re affectionate with families, often bold and quick to learn, with a natural drive to herd that can make them a bit bossy around small children or other animals. Despite their short legs they are surprisingly active and need regular walks, play and mental stimulation. Prospective owners should consider regular grooming for their double coat, daily exercise, training to manage herding instincts and careful weight and back care given their long spine. They adapt to smaller homes if exercised properly. Take a look at the Welsh Corgi Pembroke pets currently available.
