The Korat is a compact, muscular, medium-sized cat known for its striking silvery-blue coat and bright green eyes; temperamentally it tends to be affectionate and loyal to its family, intelligent and curious, with a moderate to high activity level that enjoys interactive play and climbing. Prospective owners should consider that Korats form strong bonds and can be sensitive or reserved with strangers, so they suit households able to give regular companionship and mental stimulation rather than long periods alone. They adapt well to flats with vertical space, need routine grooming for their short coat, and benefit from health-checked breeding or rescue adoption — ensure you choose a reputable source and budget for ongoing veterinary care.
