Poodles are bright, adaptable dogs known for quick learning, a friendly, alert temperament and a coat that sheds minimally; they come in Toy, Miniature and Standard sizes, so energy and exercise needs vary — Toys and Miniatures often suit smaller homes while Standards usually need more space and longer walks. They make good family pets and respond well to training, but thrive on mental stimulation and regular activity. Before buying or adopting, consider grooming—frequent clipping and brushing—plus time for exercise, socialisation and healthcare, and choose a responsible breeder or rescue.
