The Dorset Olde Tyme Bulldogge is a loyal, affectionate and steady breed, typically medium-to-large and muscular with a calm, family-oriented temperament that enjoys company and gentle play. They have moderate activity needs — regular walks and short bursts of exercise keep them fit — and they respond well to consistent, patient training and early socialisation. Prospective owners should consider space and lifestyle: they do well in homes with a garden but can adapt to flats if given daily activity, and they benefit from routine health checks, sensible feeding and temperature-aware care.
