The Lowchen, often called the Little Lion Dog, is a small companion breed known for its affectionate, confident and playful nature; bright and alert, they enjoy short bursts of activity and are happiest with daily walks and interactive play. Their size makes them well suited to flats, but they still need company and mental stimulation, so prospective owners should consider whether they can provide regular attention, grooming (their coat benefits from routine brushing and occasional trims) and basic health checks. They generally get on well with children and other pets when socialised early. If a sociable, small companion fits your lifestyle, browse Lowchen pets currently available.
