The Dwelf is a small, short‑legged, largely hairless cat with a playful, affectionate nature and a lively curiosity; despite their compact size they enjoy interactive play and cosy laps in equal measure. Temperamentally they tend to be social, people‑focused and intelligent, getting on well with families and other pets, though individual energy levels vary. Prospective owners should consider skin and ear care associated with hairless breeds, protection from sun and cold, and potential health issues linked to dwarfism — choose a reputable breeder or consider rescue with clear health checks. They suit smaller homes if provided climbing space, toys and daily enrichment, and benefit from regular veterinary care and attentive handling.
