The Lykoi, often called the "werewolf" cat for its patchy, partially hairless coat, is a medium-sized, athletic breed known for curiosity, playfulness and a social yet occasionally cautious demeanour. They enjoy interactive play and human company but adapt well to quieter households, making them suitable for flats if given daily enrichment and space to climb and explore. Potential owners should be aware of their specialist care needs: skin and coat checks, occasional baths, sun and temperature protection, regular vet reviews and sourcing from reputable breeders to minimise genetic issues. Consider their active nature and need for companionship before adopting to ensure a happy, well-stimulated Lykoi.
