The Neva Masquerade is the colour‑point variant of the Siberian: a medium‑to‑large, sturdy cat with a semi‑long, plush coat and a calm, affectionate temperament. They tend to be sociable and intelligent, enjoying interactive play and companionship without being overly demanding, making them suitable for families or quiet homes. Prospective owners should consider grooming and space needs — regular brushing to manage a thick undercoat and vertical space such as climbing posts will keep them content — and seek reputable breeders or adoption centres that provide health screening. While generally adaptable, they do best with companionship and stimulation, so plan for playtime, routine care and indoor safety rather than leaving them alone for long periods.
