The Coton de Tulear is a small, affectionate companion dog known for its cottony coat, friendly demeanour and bright intelligence. Typically weighing under 7 kg and enjoying moderate daily activity, Cotons are sociable and suit families, singles or older owners who can provide companionship and gentle training. Prospective owners should be prepared for regular grooming to keep the coat healthy, daily walks and play to meet their moderate exercise needs, and not leaving them alone for long spells as they prefer company. They adapt well to flats if stimulated, but do need routine care and attention. Browse our current Coton de Tulear pets available to find your match.
