The Giant Schnauzer is a large, intelligent and loyal working breed: alert and protective, they bond closely with families and respond well to firm, consistent training. Energetic and muscular, they need daily vigorous exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and avoid bored behaviour, plus regular grooming to maintain their dense, wiry coat. Prospective owners should consider space and lifestyle — a secure garden and an active household suit them best — and be prepared for early socialisation and ongoing training. They can thrive with experienced owners who meet their physical and mental needs. Take a look at the Giant Schnauzer pets currently available.
