The Arctic Curl is a striking cat, usually medium in size, with distinctive swept‑back ears and a thick coat suited to cooler climates; temperament tends to be affectionate, sociable and intelligent, with moderate energy — playful but not hyperactive. Prospective owners should consider that Arctic Curls enjoy interactive play, climbing opportunities and mental stimulation, and will benefit from a home with space or vertical routes rather than long periods confined to a tiny flat. Their unique ear shape means routine checks and gentle cleaning are sensible to reduce the risk of debris or infection, and regular grooming helps keep the coat healthy. Buy or adopt only from reputable sources and be prepared for normal ongoing care and vet checks.
